Dozens of fathers went back to school for one day in June 2010 – for a special event organised by Terrington St Clement Community School.

Around 80 parents, as well as other important male figures, took part in World Cup football activities with the pupils, with some facing the Lynn News camera here with their children.

The bring-your-dad to school day was arranged as part of a national fathers’ story week and the school’s international primary curriculum, which focused on particular topics throughout the year.

Assistant head teacher, Danni Land, said: “Everyone got a lot out of it and enjoyed the day.”
