August 2000: A miniature fundraising event raised a monster £700 for Roydon church. A one-day exhibition of model engines, trains, boats, planes, buildings, fairground rides and old-fashioned toys was organised by churchwarden David Grimes (left). He is pictured with steward Bill Dennis, showing off examples of their work outside the church. MLNF-000817916A

August 2005: Several floats at Heacham carnival had a Hollywood theme as the casts of The Wizard of Oz, Lion King, Shrek and Hook made their way through the village. Following the yellow brick road are Sunnyside Close sheltered housing residents dressed as Wizard of Oz characters. MLNF-0508221
