Here’s the Paws for Thought weekly pets adoption focus…

Currently at the centre we have some cats that are looking for outdoor homes.

We currently have Ollie and Indie a bonded pair (tabby and tabby and white) who are approximately a year old, Abby who is tabby and approximately 2 years old, Mickey, (ginger) is around 5 years old, Pearl, (white and tabby) around 2 years old and Ruby (black and white) around 2 years old.

Ruby and Pearl could go together or separately.

These cats will need to be in a contained, weatherproof, warm accommodation with hiding places and food and water supplied at least twice daily along with litter trays.

They will need to be kept in for at least four weeks possibly longer to get them acclimatised to you and the area they will be living.

Once allowed to roam, they will still need access to their secure area where they will need feeding and water supplied.

All of these cats can be treated for flea and worms in a tablet form which can be placed in their food.

Their new homes will ideally be away from main roads.

All these cats will make fantastic additions to a farm, small holding in keeping the rodent population down.
