Farm wagon on King’s Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place in Lynn News Picture This

Picture This with Lynn Museum from Tuesday, March 5.

Here we have an image of the Tuesday Market Place in 1907.

The photograph shows a farm wagon with pole ladders leaning against a rack behind and in right foreground is another stall selling pole ladders leaning against rack with timber gates and booth in front.

There are people walking and visiting stalls – note the cobbles surfaces still there today.

The Duke's Head hotel is visible on the righthand side with the spire of St. Nicholas' Chapel in background.
