The winners of the Lynn News Primary Schools football shield in April 2004 were Reffley, who beat South Wootton in the final played at North Wootton School.
Presenting the shield was Mark Stanford, the Lynn News assistant newspaper sales and promotions manager.
It was the 24th year for the competition – and it proved unlucky for South Wootton who had reached the final for the second successive year.
