July 2001: Shakespeare’s comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream was brought into the Swinging Sixties for the open-air season at Westacre Theatre.

July 2001: The Terrington St John colourful millennium tapestry is blessed by the Rev Richard Bending.

The tapestry was one of two commissioned the previous year by Terrington St John Millennium Group, later known as the village amenities group.

July 2001: Providing refreshments for parishioners after special services became much easier for members of Bexwell church thanks to a £100 donation from Downham’s Tesco store, the money being used to buy a new urn.

July 2013: More than a thousand people flocked to the annual flower festival at Terrington St Clement parish church, which was awash with colour with the different arrangements and a village life exhibition.

July 1999: Weasenham Primary School welcomed the official opening of a new cloakroom and a new soft play area, provided at a cost of £80,000 by Norfolk County Council.

The ceremony was performed by former school governor Doreen Spicer (left), who is joined by some of the pupils and headteacher Sandy Francis.
