June 2011: West Norfolk’s self-styled Fat Bloke on a Moped, David Fletcher of Southery (right) was revving up for a 3,500-mile round the coast of Britain ride in aid of cancer charity Keeping Abreast. He was being supported by fellow rider Kevin Rooney. They were sponsored for their fuel costs by sales manager Mark Brett and general manager Phil Saunders of the Marshall Toyota dealership in Lynn.

June 2011: Hands 4 Hounds was a new business launched by Louise Wilkes, of North Wootton, pictured with her own pets Tessa, Heidi and Ruby. She had gained a qualification in canine remedial massage.

June 2011: MKM Building Supplies, based at North Lynn Industrial Estate, were announced as the latest company to give backing to King’s Lynn Town FC. Club chairman Buster Chapman, centre, is joined by Damian Roach, left, and Mark Ward.

June 2012: The Asda store in South Wootton announced it would be helping local good causes. June 2012: These traders on Lynn’s Norfolk Street called for an easing of parking restrictions, warning there was the possibility of losing the town’s largest cluster of small independent shops. They said the yellow line law was driving away customers.

June 2015: Here are some of the 53 ladies from Tesco’s Downham store who signed up to take part in Cancer Research UK’s women-only Race for Life at Houghton Hall.

June 2015: Members of Hunstanton Chamber of Trade, and guests, are pictured on The Green ahead of their final meeting before the summer break. The chairman, William Searle, reported that membership now stood at 40.

June 2015: Stow Bridge butcher Jeff Sargent, co-owner of the racehorse Goldream, celebrated after hearing that it had won a valuable sprint race at Ascot, the King’s Stand Stakes. He is pictured with the trophy.

June 2015: Staff at CGM Ltd celebrate the firm’s 30th birthday at their Downham base. CGM started off as a one-man contract to tend a churchyard and grew into a leading grounds maintenance company employing more the 180.

June 2012: Eighteen months after opening Razor Sharp in Norfolk Street, Lynn, Sophie Franks expanded by opening a second salon in Wilton Road, Razor Sharp.
