Make your mark on Sunny Hunny wall

Residents in West Norfolk can make their mark on its seaside town by painting their own tile and adding to Hunstanton’s feature wall.

Award-winning Paint Me Ceramics, which is based in Westgate, is working alongside Hunstanton and District Festival of Arts (HDFA) to extend the tile feature wall on Hunstanton’s sea front.

The HDFA is organising a serious of activities in order to promote art in Hunstanton, and within this residents can paint their own tile, at a cost of £10.

Elaine Clutton from HDFA said: “These projects have previously captured the imagination and creativity skills of the whole community and its visitors.

“It also brightens up the morth prom. It has been commended by the Hunstanton In Bloom judges so we look forward to working together on this latest project with the 2018 theme Under the Sea.”

In 2012 and 2015, similar projects were undertaken with themes of Jubilee and Memories of Hunstanton, which officials say “proved a great success”.

Owner of Paint me Ceramics, Suzy Mason, said: “The sea is a huge part of Hunstanton charm and history.

“I’m looking forward to working with everyone to add further sections to this already fabulous wall.”

Residents are invited to paint a tile on June 24. For more information, visit www.hdfa.org.uk
