Memory Lane 1990: King's Lynn historian helps history come to life for Eastgate and Greyfriars primary schools

Dr Paul Richards, one of Lynn’s most famous historians and a lecturer at Norfolk College of Arts and Technology, helped local history come to life for pupils in November 1990.

Eastgate and Greyfriars primary schools in Lynn were given an insight into the stories and pictures featured in his book The History of Lynn.

Each school was given a copy of the book courtesy of Lynn and West Norfolk Trades Council from its funds. Dr Richards, pictured at the rear, left, said the children were particularly interested in looking at old maps and pictures.
