Memory Lane: King's Lynn dance school at Corn Exchange in April 1997; Zara Phillips at Burnham Market, 2006

Meet some of the cast of the Betina-Lynn Dance School, all ready for their performance of Shooting Stars at Lynn Corn Exchange, in April 1997.

It was a ballet extravaganza featuring a cast of 150 pupils with an age range from two up to 18. Shooting Stars told the story of an actress struggling to cope during the Second World War.

Tina Rodgers, joint principal at the school with Karen Darlington, wrote the script and designed the costumes. At the time of the production the school had just been told that three pupils – Sophie Bush, Rebecca Baxter and Joanne Mullender – had won prestigious honours at the Imperial Ballet Awards in London.
