Memory Lane & All Our Yesterdays: South Pacific by Watlington Players, Downham CC, Heacham pool and West Norfolk netball leagues

Watlington Players were celebrating their 18th birthday in 1994 and looking forward to going on stage at the village hall at the end of May with a production of the hit musical South Pacific.

The cast had been put together by director Lilian Miller who had included a mixture of faces familiar to Watlington audiences and some newcomers. Two new members were Christine Uttin (Ensign Nellie Forbush) and Andy Prior (Lt Joseph Cable).

The part of Liat was played by 14-year-old Lucy Nobes. Liat’s mother, Bloody Mary, was played by Elaine Johnson. MLNF-9405191
