Memory Lane: Jaeger’s spring fashions in 1983

By Chris Hornby

All dressed up and ready for the show.

These Jaeger models showing off the firm’s spring collection were pictured in the Lynn News at the end of March, 1983.

Nine women and three men, from the firm’s distribution centre at Lynn’s Hardwick Estate, took part.

The event was held at Lynn’s Regis Rooms, with a preview for staff employees being followed by the fashion show for the 250-strong public audience.

Colours for the season were oyster, cameo, peach, pink, yellow and blue and there was also the introduction of a range of sportswear for men.
