Memory Lane: RAF Marham high-flying air cadet rewarded at King's Lynn Town Hall

Group Captain Peter Rochelle, station commander at RAF Marham, presents Grant Ellis with the Best Cadet award at 42F (Lynn) ATC Squadron’s annual presentation evening in November 2010, watched by the borough mayor Zipha Christopher and other award recipients.

About 150 people including parents, friends and adult committee members attended the glittering event at Lynn Town Hall which also included a buffet in the Stone Hall.

Among those present was Geoff Bullen, from Hunstanton, the first cadet to join the Squadron and he featured in the first photo of its members taken in December 1938.
