Memory Lane Schooldays: Cracking lessons on ancient Greeks
Published: 08:00, 02 November 2019
Class Two at Gooderstone Primary School were having a cracking time learning about the ancient Greeks in October, 1998, and the children, are pictured here for the Lynn News “Classroom Call”.
One of their activities involved painting their own designs on terracotta plant pots before breaking them and piecing the fragments back together again – young archaeologist style.
Class teacher Mrs Rhonda Packer had also told the children the story of the Trojan horse and they looked at building their own wooden horses and worked out how to move them.
There was also work on the adventures of the Greek hero Ulysses.
