A drop in the number of children being enrolled at Watlington Pre-School was causing concern to staff in November 2005.
The chairperson, Ria Bunting, said: “Just a year ago we had more than 40 children on the books and there was a waiting list. Now there are only some 20 on the register, with some of those coming from outside the village.
“We have had an excellent Ofsted report and everything is in place, but we just like to see the village hall full at our sessions.”
