In our weekly Memory Lane Schooldays feature we look back to October 2004…
Anthony Curton Primary School in Walpole St Peter was highlighted, in October 2004, for its “gifted and talented pupil policy”.
It was said to be one of the leaders in the gifted and talented field following a visit from members of a review group earlier in the year.

There were three aspects to the Anthony Curton policy – workshops for those showing talent in particular areas, a playground leadership scheme for pupils showing skills in that area, and trips and visits for all of the school.
