Methwold Primary School pupils performed alternative version of Nativity in 2000

Pupils at Methwold Primary School performed an alternative version of the Nativity in December 2000.

Around 90 children aged between five and 11 took part in the story of Baboushka, a Russian folk tale about an old woman who meets the three kings and is invited to go with them to meet the Baby Jesus.

Some of the costumes were made by GCSE textile pupils at Methwold High School, who also went along to one of the performances to help the young children get dressed.
