National skateboard champion Joe Hinson at King's Lynn KASET summer jam at Alive Lynnsport
A British champion attended and a new ramp was opened at the KASET skatepark summer jam at Alive Lynnsport on Saturday.
Riders and spectators enjoyed the fun skateboard event which was for ages six and upwards at the Greenpark Avenue site.
The new fun-box ramp – which consists of a box shape with a flat top and a ramp on two or more sides – unveiled has been constructed by Four One Four Skateparks.
Joe Hinson, who won a national event in 2019 and whose recent results include first in Skateboard GB Habito National Street Skateboarding Championships Mens Qualifiers in April, also took part.
There were lots of competitions and prizes for the highest hippy jump, best trick, longest manual, coolest outfit and more.
Sponsors provided prizes including Triple Eight, TKC, Dwindle Distribution, Tensor, BestDayEver and Loven Skate. BestDayEver came along to the event with some of their decks and T-shirts to sell.
