Sparkly houses are appearing in North Wootton
A house in North Wootton has been decorated in lights and encouraging surrounding neighbours to start putting up their Christmas decorations.
Nicola Ward responded to the Lynn News' request for picture of houses decorated in sparkly lights.
Her mock Georgian property in The Howards is decorated inside an out and worthy of being featured on the front of a Christmas card.
With its high ceilings the hallways is beautifully adorned with ivy and lights on the banisters and a tree so perfectly symmetrical in its decorations it could appear in a Harrods window display.
Nicola, a vaccinator at the guildhall, having moved premises fro the Corn Exchange said: " We have already put our Christmas lights up. We always put them up in November in preparation for Christmas.
"We keep the lights fairly plain but get lots of lovely comments from our neighbours.
"In fact there are several houses in our road that can't wait to get the Christmas lights out but I like to set a precedent by being the first in the street.
"Christmas lights spread happiness and joy especially as the nights draw in."
For some people, lights going up in November is too early but there is method to this madness as the Grinches may call it.
Nicola said: "Initially it was because my daughter celebrates her birthday on November 17 and we would put them up for her birthday parties when she was younger. She's 23 now."
