Memory Lane: Students raise cash for doctors

By Chris Hornby

Doctors at Swaffham will be able to use an electronic call system thanks to the fundraising efforts of pupils from Hamond’s High School, the Lynn News reported in March, 1983.

A total of 34 youngsters, most in a fifth year English class, raised £700 at a 24-hour sponsored sports and activities event.
