June 2011: Marathon runner Karen Smith, second left, hands over her £450 cheque to Watlington Pre-School staff and youngsters, with Noah Russell (4) and Bev Gelder the recipients. Karen raised the money when completing the London Marathon in April.
June 2011: Children from Ten Mile Bank school visited Hope Farm in Southery as part of the Open Farm Sunday initiative – and were greeted by Potato Pete – before learning how their food left the field and on to their dinner plates.

June 2012: Excited young footie fans went back to Hilgay Primary School to watch England play France in Euro 2012 – while the girls enjoyed a Princess Party instead. Both groups had a pre-match tea of hot dogs or hamburgers and there were biscuits at half time.
June 2012: Flitcham Primary School pupils celebrate their “outstanding” Ofsted inspection. Headteacher Angela Eden and her team were praised for delivering an impressive education for the children.
June 2012: Officials of the Sandringham Club, at West Newton, joined in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations by unveiling a new permanent reminder of a momentous year. June 2015: Barroway Drove Women’s Institute and other WI members are pictured at the celebration event to mark the WI centenary year. Many wore the colours of red and green, along with a hat, to celebrate the occasion.
June 2012: Narborough Parish Council said farewell to two of their colleagues when Maureen Burchell and Brian Rayner (front) stepped down at the June meeting. Both were former chairmen and Brian had been a member for 17 years.
June 2015: Great Massingham Tennis and Multisports Club hosted a free and fun event as part of the Great British Tennis Weekend. As this picture shows, the event was well attended by adults and youngsters.
June 2015: More than 200 children from St Martin’s at Shouldham took part in the school’s first-ever Race for Life event, with about £750 being raised. The course was set in the school grounds and village green.
June 2015: West Norfolk council leaders were being urged to back a campaign for a new pedestrian crossing near the Poppyfields housing estate at West Lynn. Green Party campaigner Michael de Whalley handed over £500, raised in the GEAR race, to Alexandra Kemp to boost the appeal and she is joined by fellow campaign supporter Jo Rust.
