Take a look back at when South Wootton First School was presented with new computer in 2002

In his weekly Memory Lane Schooldays feature, Chris Hornby pays a visit to a primary school in 2002.

A computer presented to South Wootton First School in October 2002 was both up-to-the-minute and well-timed.

The package was a gift from Nick Burrows, a technician at PC World in Lynn, whose son Ryan was a pupil at the school.

He won the computer in an internal competition at work and donated it to the school at a time when ICT provision was being upgraded.
