Prize pupils get their rewards at big night




Facing the camera are some of the successful students from Lynn’s King Edward VII High School at their presentation night in December 2010.

In front of a large audience of proud parents, students received more than 100 prizes which had been awarded for success at all levels from Year 7 to GCSE A-Level.

The awards were presented by Theresa Banks, a former year head at the school.

Among the individual achievements, Tom Clark won the Vellacott essay writing competition and Alex Rutterford represented East Anglia in the Historical Association Great Debate.

The new A* level also allowed Alex to achieve the highest grades with five A*and to win the Royal Gold Medal which would be presented by the Queen at Sandringham in the new year. MLNF-10PM123110
