For a second year, Lynn’s Highgate Infant School received the shield for the most points gained from various activities held during the annual Cool Crazee Carnival, which was staged by North Lynn

Community at Lynnsport. In our picture, taken in November 2008, the community association president, Bill Guyan (seated far right) was at the school to present the shield which is being held by Ruby Shuardson (left) and Alisha Albert, who were both princesses at the event.

Carnival king Zack Reed (front left) and carnival queen Chloe Appleby (right) were awarded shields to keep.
