May 2012: A surprise was in store for Jean Dutton when she arrived at the Children’s Society charity shop in Swaffham – unaware that fellow volunteers, past and present, had gathered to celebrate her 90th birthday with a champagne party. Jean is pictured in the centre, with shop manageress Caroline Welham on the left.
May 2012: With preparations well under way for the Hunstanton carnival, the Carnival Queen Trudy Cooper was looking forward to her big day. May 2014: Youngsters and staff from King’s Lynn Nursery School were thrilled with the turnout to their first exhibition at Greyfriars Art Space. Photo: MLNF14PM05017 May 2014: Following the sudden death of 18-year-old Craig Prior, an enthusiastic player and supporter of Fakenham Rugby Club, family and friends set up the Craig Prior Memorial Fund. His death then saw an upsurge in interest Fakenham Foxes ladies team and they are pictured here with Craig Prior’s ladies and supporters before the first playing of the Craig Prior Memorial Cup.
May 2014: The newly-formed King’s Lynn Fibromyalgia Support Group, which met monthly at Lynn Hanse House was attracting more and more members. It was set up by Alexandra Stickels, pictured here with her partner Richard Cooter.
May 2014: Patients could benefit from a state-of-the-art 24-hour blood pressure monitor thanks to the Patient Participation Group at The Hollies GP Surgery in Downham.
