West Norfolk RSPCA dog Atticus looking for home

More news, no ads

This week’s featured animal in need of a new home is Atticus.

Staff at the West Norfolk RSPCA’s Eau Brink rehoming centre say: “Atticus has recently joined us from a home where his owners sadly did not have the time to devote to him. He is 18 months old and is a well socialised boy. He has lived with dogs, cats and children.

“Even though he gets on with everyone and everything, we feel that this time round Atticus would prefer a home where he can receive lots of one-to-one with owners who can dedicate the majority of their time and effort into making his life wonderful.

"He will need two good walks a day with lots of play time and further training in a large secure area.

“We hope Atticus doesn’t have to stay too long in kennels, as he is a highly intelligent breed and one that needs lots of stimulation. In our experience they do not cope well in the kennel environment.

“Atticus will need highly active owners who are able to control him when walking.”

If you are interested in adopting Atticus, or any of the other animals at the centre, visit www.westnorfolkrspca.org.uk or phone 01553 618889 for more details.

The branch's annual dog walk will take place at Sandringham Park this Sunday, June 9, from 11am to 1pm.
