1 - The Duke’s Head Hotel, Lynn
Fancy heading to the historic powder blue Georgian building on the Tuesday Market Place for your fix of tea and cake?
The Duke’s Head offers afternoon tea, with a “carefully crafted wine list”, “delicate finger sandwiches” and “warm scones, pastries and a range of teas”.
Afternoon tea is served here from 12pm to 4pm on Wednesdays to Sundays, from £19.95 per person - a glass of Prosecco can be added for an extra £5 per person.

2 - The Farmhouse at Fincham
This village hotel, restaurant, bar and events venue says it has “something to suit the whole family” thanks to its classic, savoury, seasonal and children’s afternoon teas.
Served Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 4pm, these range from £9.95 for a child’s tea to £24.95 for a sparkling or seasonal tea.
The team says that 24 hours’ notice is required for bookings, with the teas made fresh on the premises by the chef.

3 - Knights Hill Hotel and Spa, South Wootton
The hotel on the edge of Lynn says its afternoon tea is the “ultimate indulgence”, which - weather permitting - can be served on the patio overlooking the walled garden or in the comfort of its lounge or Garden Bar.
These are served from Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 5.30pm and from 3pm to 5.30pm on Sundays.
Costing £18.50 per person, advanced reservations are required for parties of six or more.

4 - Sandringham
Want to make the occasion a tad more royal? Then head over to the royal Sandringham Estate, which offers “seasonal delicious afternoon tea inspired by the Estate”.
It’s served on Chelsea botanical porcelain - which is a design “closely derived from a large collection acquired by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother”.
Served with Sandringham blend tea or a glass of Prosecco, afternoon tea includes traditional recipes, using “many seasonal products grown here on the Estate and the finest ingredients sourced locally”.
Classic afternoon tea is £30, sparkling afternoon tea costs £35 and children’s afternoon tea is £16.50.
Pre-booking 48 hours in advance is essential, with sittings in the restaurant at 2pm until March 29.
Afternoon tea is served on Fridays and Saturdays only until April 1, when sittings are available seven days a week, served at 3pm.

5 - Le Strange Arms Beachside Hotel and Lodges, Old Hunstanton
If you’re hoping to incorporate a coastal outing for your afternoon tea date, why not try this beachside hotel?
“Served on the hotel terrace overlooking the sea or in the comfort of our lounge or Terrace Bar, you can enjoy a mouth-watering selection of finely cut sandwiches, speciality cakes including freshly baked scones all complimented by a selection of teas and coffee,” a statement on the Le Strange Arms website says.
Afternoon teas are served daily in the hotel lounge and Terrace Bar or from the hotel terraces in good weather, from 12pm to 5.30pm from Monday to Saturday and 3pm to 5.30pm on Sundays.

6 - Berni Beans, Hunstanton
Staying by the seaside, Berni Beans Vintage Tearoom offers a vintage afternoon tea experience.
The team at the High Street eatery say it is a “luxurious affair that features an array of freshly baked scones, delicate sandwiches and delectable cakes and pastries”.
It’s available from 12.30pm to 4pm Thursdays to Sundays, costing £15 per person for a mini afternoon tea and £25 per person for a full version. To add on a glass of Prosecco, it’s an extra £8, or for a bottle, it’s £22 more.

7 - Bank House, Lynn
Lynn’s historic Bank House is one of many hotel/restaurants in the town which offers the sweet and savoury treats.
The team describes its offerings as “famous” and “perfect for any get-together or celebration, whether for two or 20”.
A standard afternoon tea costs £20 per person, while a celebration tea with a glass of fizz is £25 per person.
The teas are on offer between 12pm and 6pm Fridays to Sundays and must be pre-booked.

8 - Tipsy Teapot, Lynn
For a quirkier version of a standard afternoon tea, take a trip to Tipsy Teapot on Lynn’s High Street.
Its website describes its teas as “most definitely something to celebrate”.
“Finger sandwiches and savoury treats are served on our custom-made three, four or five-armed chandelier or candelabra and our homemade sweet treats taste as delicious as they look,” it adds.
Tipsy Teapot’s afternoon tea costs £19.95 per adult including one pot of tea or coffee and £9.95 per child including a soft drink from the business’s range of still or sparkling juices.

10 - Congham Hall
The team at Congham Hall have described the luxury hotel and spa’s afternoon teas as “Norfolk’s finest”.
On the website, they say: “Treat your loved ones to afternoon tea at Congham Hall, with delicious cakes, savouries, sandwiches, champagne and more.
“With our many lounges, the stunning terrace, and the Samphire Kitchen, Congham Hall is the perfect place to indulge yourself and your loved ones.”
The afternoon teas are priced at £25 per person or £35 per person for a champagne version of the treat.
