190 hand made Christmas cards delivered to care homes in West Norfolk

Nearly 200 Christmas cards written by schoolchildren from Stoke Ferry and Shouldham were delivered to care homes across West Norfolk.

Care Home Connectors is a project organised by West Norfolk Befriending and Linking Lives to link care homes and schools to help ease isolation among West Norfolk's elderly residents.

Youngsters at All Saints Academy in Stoke Ferry and St Martin's in Shouldham took part in the National Lottery Community Fund project.

Staff from West Norfolk Befriending delivered hand made cards to Goodwins Hall in Lynn, Fridham Rest Home at Heacham, The Grange at Downham and Burman House at Terrington St John.

Pippa May, who delivered the cards, said: "The staff were delighted to receive such beautiful hand made cards that all contained a personal message."
