Fakenham drug dealer to be sentenced at Norwich Crown Court after police search
Magistrates decided their sentencing powers were insufficient to punish a 20-year-old drug dealer who admitted to intending to supply a Class A and a Class B drug.
Harrison Hudson, of no fixed address, appeared at Lynn’s Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Prosecutor Nicola Lamb said that police conducted a search warrant on a property in Fakenham where Hudson was living.
A number of officers took part in the search and a quantity of cocaine and cannabis was found.
White powder was also found on windowsills and there was fizzing in the gutter, which is said to suggest that there was an attempt to dispose of drugs.
Drug paraphernalia was also found in the property including scales and bags. Hudson’s phone was also searched and messages were found suggesting that he was selling drugs.
Hudson later confessed in a police interview that he had been selling the drugs.
He has no previous convictions to his name.
Magistrates sent Hudson to Norwich Crown Court to be sentenced at a date yet to be decided, saying he is at risk of going to prison.
