Bolton man Jose Amaral set to appear in court charged with drug offences after being arrested on A17 at Terrington St Clement




A man is set to appear in court today after being charged with drug offences in West Norfolk.

It comes after officers arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs on the A17 near Terrington St Clement at around 10pm on Tuesday.

He was taken to Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Jose Amaral, 25, of Longden Street, Bolton, Greater Manchester, has subsequently been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (diamorphine and crack cocaine) between August 11, 2023, and July 10, 2024.

He was also charged with possession of criminal property on July 9, 2024.

Amaral has been remanded in custody to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court this morning.
