Equipment worth £30k stolen from Swaffham building site




Tens of thousands of pounds of equipment have been stolen from a building site in Swaffham.

Police say raiders targeted the site on Brandon Road sometime between noon on Saturday and 7.30am on Monday.

Officers said today that more than £30,000 worth of items, including heating systems and pipes, machinery, tools and a number of household appliances, had been stolen.

Anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area, or who has information is asked to contact Sgt Richard Moden at Dereham Police Station on 101, quoting crime reference 36/48749/20.
