37-year-old North Lynn mother of three had 'never voted before'
North Lynn mother of three Kate Davis, who works at the Discovery Centre, came out to vote today for the very first time aged 37.
She did not reveal who she had voted for but said that we need to ‘get Brexit sorted and prioritise our NHS’.
On asking why Kate had left it so long to vote she said: “I had never seen the importance of voting before, but after returning to work from being a stay at home mum and doing well in my career, I changed my mind.
“My kids, who are 16, 11 and 9 need to take voting seriously so I want to set a good example.
“I felt a bit apprehensive but it was very straightforward.
“I now feel like I’ve made a contribution.”
Meanwhile, Conservative election agent Ian Sherwood has revealed he reported an incident of nails being placed on the road near his car to the police.
Mr Sherwood said he saw the items on Wednesday morning.
