Seven-year-old Lillie Hammond from Watlington has had her hair cut for wig charity Little Princess Trust.
Lillie decided to donate 10 and a half inches of hair to the charity after reading about others doing the same.
Lillie’s mum Kirsty said: “It was all her own idea, she was due a haircut anyway but after she saw about it in her magazines, she decided to donate her hair to the charity.”
She has so far raised more than £400 for the costs of making the wig, which will be given to children who have suffered hair loss due to cancer treatment.
Lillie will be at Waterbeach Army Cadet Force on Saturday at a Royal British Legion fundraising event with a bucket for donations to the Little Princess Trust.
