A-Level Results Day 2019: College of West Anglia
Officials from the College of West Anglia say they are thrilled with their students' A-level results.
Almost 77 per cent achieved A* to C grades, with an overall pass rate of more than 97 per cent for the second successive year.
Principal David Pomfret said: "I am delighted with the outstanding A-level results we have achieved this year.
"They are testament to the hard-work, dedication and commitment of both our students and teaching staff.
"In addition, the number of students achieving top grades has been outstanding.
"We couldn’t be prouder of all they have achieved during their time with us and we wish them every success in their future endeavours."
Among their top students was Tabitha Lake, who scored an A* and three A grades and is now heading to the University of York to study English and History.
She said: "I am so happy and relieved with my results today. I am grateful for all the tutors who have supported me during my time at the college and I’m looking forward to see what the future will hold."
The college's clearing hotline is now open for students looking to discuss potential degree options at the University Centre West Anglia, on the college's Lynn campus.
