A Midsummer Fair goes like a dream in Pentney

Residents packed into Pentney Midsummer Fair on Saturday to enjoy a day in the sun and raise money for the village hall fund.
Organisers said there was a wide selection of stalls including craft, arts and bric-a-brac as well as refreshments.
There was also live music from Joe and Mary and The Booze Brothers, with impressions of Elvis and The Blues Brothers.
An organiser said: “Many fun games and sideshows. There was ice cream, hot dogs and other refreshments. All proceeds go toward saving our village hall”.
