Vets 1 opens a new practice in King's Lynn in premises formerly occupied by NatWest Bank
A new veterinary practice has opened on Lynn's Hardwick Industrial Estate following a £500,000 revamp of premises formerly occupied by a bank.
The old NatWest Bank building at 2 Hardwick Road is now home to the Vets 1 Group King's Lynn Limited, a sister company to the original Vets 1 launched at Crimplesham in 2013.
Sophie Bush, clinical lead and partner in the business said: “We had planned to open in April but world events conspired against us. To manage to get our doors open this month is a huge relief coupled with a lot of excitement.
“We have a launch team in place that together have more than 70 years veterinary experience and we are all looking forward to meeting both the owners and the pets that reside in the town.”
The new site, named The Old Bank, has state-of-the-art equipment, including digital x-ray, two sterile operating theatres with full monitoring equipment, specialist dental theatre incorporating x-ray, full in-house laboratory and spacious dog, cat and isolation wards. There is also ample private parking
Said Sophie: "We will be providing routine and emergency care for all domestic pets, including the obvious and the not-so-obvious reptiles and the obscure!"
In conjunction with Vets 1 in Crimplesham, support is offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In 2018, Vets 1 Group, based at Home Farm Barns, Downham Road, won a silver award in the Best UK Vets 2018 after achieving an outstanding number of top-rated client reviews over the past 12 months. And it won the Mayor's Business Award 2016 in the category for Best Small Growing Business.
