Fitness classes and guitar lessons are among the activities organised for employees during a week of Wellbeing.
Freebridge Community Housing is organising a range of activities and events for staff between Monday, May 11, and Friday, May 15.
This fourth week of wellbeing offers a variety of activities including health checks, Mindfulness and Meditation and relaxation sessions. There will also be health and nutrition advice, a chance to learn the guitar, fitness classes and Financial guidance.
The Week of Wellbeing is designed to promote and support the six strands of wellbeing – Career, Physical, Mental, Social, Economic and Community Wellbeing – for its employee team of over 200 people.
Michelle Gant, Director of Engagement at Freebridge said: “The Week of Wellbeing is an extremely popular time for all of our employees but over the years we have found that the positive effects on people’s wellbeing continues way beyond the week itself.”
Wellbeing advice is offered regularly to tenants through the Out and About scheme, articles within the tenant publication Streets Ahead, active links with organisations such as the Purfleet Trust and a 24-hour contact number for any emergencies at home.
