LEARN MOREPupils at Downham’s Nelson Academy were invited to Go Green last Friday, as part of a national fundraising day for the NSPCC.
Youngsters were encouraged to take part in return for donations to the charity.
Principal Sarah Wilson said: “We have been working with the NSPCC as part of the ‘Speak out, Stay Safe’ programme, which highlights the importance of children speaking up if they have concerns.
“Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, so we are delighted to support this amazing charity.”
