Accident on Hardwick Road in King's Lynn causes traffic delay on big day

There were long delays for traffic coming into Lynn this morning, with an accident on the Hardwick Road sparking tailbacks on the morning that shops reopened after full lockdown.

An ambulance was reported to be in attendance to a person on the ground at the bridge close to McDonald's.

In Lynn town centre, queues formed early at shops such as TK Maxx and the car parks were largely full.

Government rules have changed as part of the roadmap to coming out of Covid with non-essential shops are allowed to be open from today with pubs also permitted to serve people outside.
