Active Fakenham at town's superstore tomorrow to discuss future activities

Active Fakenham will be at the Tesco store in Oak Street on tomorrow (Thursday, August 9) from 9am to midday, to talk to people about what activities they think should be taking place in the town.

They will also have their Smoothie Bikes and badge making machine at the store and aim to promote the Get Active in Fakenham Week.

Richard Crook, from Active Fakenham said, “We are planning to bring the smoothie bikes and badge making machine to the store for people to have a go.

"We will be promoting the Get Active Week which runs from the 18th to 26th August and will be talking to people about how they view the town and what we may be able to do in future.

"We may also have a very brief questionnaire. Tesco are amongst the businesses in the town that have supported us this year.

"However, we have to realise that we are a small community group with very limited resources and feel we have been “punching above our weight” when it comes to promotion and provision of activities in the town."
