Cambridgeshire financial advisers expand team
AE Thomson, an independent financial adviser in Cambridgeshire, has announced the expansion of its executive team.
Established in 1982, AE Thomson provides expert independent financial advice to clients across East Anglia and the surrounding areas.
Martin Setchell, pictured, will be joining the existing cohort as ‘director’ and will be responsible for providing expert financial advice to clients throughout the region.
Mr Setchell’s career in financial services started in 1998, working in both small regional and large national independent advice firms.
He was most recently working as a director at an Independent Financial Adviser in Lynn.
Mr Setchell is available for advice on wealth management, retirement planning, savings and investments plus family protection to individuals as well as business related advice to employers and employees.
AE Thomson currently provides a large number of individuals and businesses with comprehensive, reliable and independent financial planning advice, so this move will enable more clients from the region to access these essential financial services at a time when it is needed most.
Nigel Smith, company director at AE Thomson said: “We are doing all we can to help and support our customers and in particular at this moment in time when personal finances and financial wellbeing may present some challenges.
“Bringing in the expertise of Martin will undoubtedly help to strengthen the services we offer to both individuals and businesses, as well as enable more clients to benefit from the peace of mind that comes from good financial planning.”
