Air ambulance sent to Fakenham after teenager suffers medical emergency




A teenager was rushed to hospital by an air ambulance yesterday.

Paramedics were called to reports of a boy in his teens suffering a medical emergency in Fakenham.

Eyewitnesses say the helicopter landed at the town’s cricket club at around 4pm before taking off again.

A spokesperson for the East Anglian Air Ambulance Service said the boy was given pre-hospital care at the scene, including advanced medication.

He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge for further treatment.
