Air ambulance called as man taken to King's Lynn hospital following A47 accident

A man has been transported by air ambulance to Lynn's hospital following a collision involving a tractor on the A47 this morning.

Emergency services were called to West Bilney shortly before 8am following reports of an accident.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We sent an ambulance, rapid response vehicle, a BASICS (British Association for Immediate Care) car and the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

"Crews treated a male patient at the scene before transporting him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and care."
