Air ambulance sent to scene of crash in Snettisham





An air ambulance was sent to the scene of a crash in Snettisham this morning.

However, none of the four people involved required hospital treatment after the two-vehicle collision.

It occurred at the junction where Church Road, Old Church Road and Bircham Road meet, with police called to the scene at 10.53am.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.49am to a road traffic collision on the junction of Church Road and Bircham Road in Snettisham.

“An ambulance, ambulance officer vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.

“Four patients were assessed and did not require transportation to hospital.”

Firefighters from Heacham and Sandringham also attended the crash, helping to make the scene safe and release occupants from the vehicles involved.

Police say the road was cleared by 12.25pm.
