A strange being arrived at a Lynn school on Thursday morning when an alien crashed on to its field, or at least so it seemed.
That’s because the mock crash landing was staged at the Howard Junior School in order to inspire Year three pupils with their written work.
The pupils were taken out to explore the crash site on the school field and gradually began to communicate with the creature that emerged from the ship.
Headteacher Gregory Hill said they had even had contact from scientists about what to do with the rocket.
He said: “The school received two tweets direct from the National Space Centre giving advice on how to fix the space ship. We also sent details to NASA.
“An amazing day was had by all.”
