All the fun of the carnival at Greyfriars Primary School
From competitions to barbecues, there was something for everyone to enjoy at this year’s Greyfriars Primary School carnival.
Youngsters along with their family and friends were invited to take part in the school’s annual carnival on Friday.
Having raised £2,100 towards the school’s playground fund, carnival committee member Linda Moulton said “there was something for everyone to enjoy”.
She said: “It was a very enjoyable day for everyone involved. There was a number of activities such as games, competitions and a barbecue.
“There was a lot of people, family, friends and the children. This is our main fundraising event of the year and we managed to raise £2,100.
“This money will go towards our school playground. We buy something for the playground and then go back to fundraising again and keep adding on and on. It is an ongoing project.”
