Wimbledon fortnight is in full swing and, if new plans are anything to go by, it appears that some of West Norfolk’s most famous residents are very much for tennis.
That’s because a planning application has been submitted to the borough council, seeking permission to re-site a tennis court at Anmer Hall, the home of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The application has been submitted to the authority by the Sandringham Estate.
The proposal also allows for the reinstatement of a garden area and parking, plus the installation of iron fencing.
Council planners are expected to reach a decision on the application in mid-August.
