Anniversary of Battle of Britain to be marked with wreath-laying service in King’s Lynn’s Tower Gardens





A wreath-laying service is set to take place to mark the anniversary of The Battle of Britain.

The service commemorating the 84th anniversary will take place in Tower Gardens in Lynn on Monday, September 9 at 10.45am.

The service, which marks the start of the annual fundraising ‘Wings Appeal’ for the Royal Air Forces Association welfare fund, will be led by the Rev’d Kyla Sorenson.

It is hoped that many veterans and members of the public will attend the service and all attending are invited to return to the Bridge for Heroes veterans charity following the service where refreshments will be served.
