Annual Gallipoli and Dardanelles International lunch
The Gallipoli and Dardenelles International’s annual lunch took place at Lynn town hall on Friday.
There was 34 diners in attendance including borough mayor Nick Daubney, and the oldest two were 88 and 91-years-old.
Club president John Crowe said: “We met in the hall just before 12 to have wine, juice and water.
“Then the quest speaker gave a talk on the history of the Victorian Cross medal.
“There was eight people there with family connections to soldiers and four whose father’s were involved.”
Mr Crowe said the Gallipoli and Dardenelles International group is always accepting new members, and they welcome anyone either with family connections or just with an interest in history.
