Great Massingham coffee morning raised thousands for Macmillan Cancer Support
Another wonderful day of fundraising helped to bring in more cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Since 2005, Chrissie Warnes and her team of Great Massingham volunteers have raised an incredible amount of more than £102,300 for the charity. They hit the £100,000 mark last year .
Now Victoria Wade has heard Chrissie wants to take a step back from organising the event, and she is “only too happy to help”.
A coffee afternoon was held in Great Massingham with various activities such as cupcake decorating, face painting, a raffle, and a bookstall.
There were also miniature donkeys for people to walk and cuddle and a tombola where more than 200 prizes were up for grabs.
Many people baked and donated a delicious selection of sweet and savoury bakes, and the day was enjoyed by all.
An amazing £2,252.34 was raised from the day for Macmillan.
Christine said: “Thank you to everyone for helping me on the day.”
